Description
I support the fan theory that Scar and Sarafina were "close" when they were younger.
In fact, after reading many different fan writings on the subject, I have tried to put together a coherent story:
Originally, Scar just wanted to be respected and honoured by his pack as much as his big brother Mufasa. The desire for power and respect slowly hardened his soul.
Once he took the throne, he naturally tried to breed offspring. His first choice was his childhood sweetheart Serafina. She gave birth to a son, Mheetu 'the white prince' (because he was born with a snow-white fur coat), but he - like his sister Nala - ran away.
Soon afterwards he met Zira and they soon found common ground. The new couple's first child was a boy, but unfortunately he was born weak and skinny, he is Nuka.
They tried for a long time, but most of their cubs were born sickly and died soon after, except for one small lioness, Vitani. Mheetu is only Nala's half-brother, so Scar NOT Nala's father.
Nala's father is a male lion named Matoota, who left the Pridelands after her daughter was born.
